Upper Missouri style War Shirt
A museum quality ceremonial shirt in the style of the early 19th century Upper-Missouri tribes. (Mandan, Hidatsa, Blackfeet, Cheyenne.) This shirt has woven porcupine quilled shoulder and sleeve bands- a rare and difficult technique, done only by the best craftswomen.
Material: Hand brain tanned mountain sheep hide, elk sinew, porcupine quills, seed beads, wool stroud trade cloth.
