Ganado Revival Serape #9626
Ganado is located in the center of the Navajo reservation and is famous for “Ganado Red” type of weaving, established prior to 1900 by the famous trader, Don Lorenzo Hubbell, who encouraged the use of older traditional elements and the color red. Hubbell, at one time owned fourteen trading posts. in the central and western areas of the reservation.
